I marvel at the bravery of our young men in the military. Two of my brothers were stationed in Viet Nam at the same time so it became very real to me that the lives of many people were in their hands. Not only are our military men, (most are just boys),in a far away land fighting for our freedom, they are also far removed from the everyday pleasures of life that we take for granted.

I was thrilled to find out about The Bake Me A Wish organization, which began in 2004 and makes award winning gourmet cakes. These handmade, decadent wonders can be shipped to anyone who has a special occasion to celebrate,to corporations who want to reward employees, or to a soldier overseas or in the states. Cakes sent to APO/FPO addresses will generally take 7-14 days to be delivered.

The Bake Me A Wish! gourmet cake is baked with the freshest ingredients by our award winning New York City bakery. Each cake is adorned with a decorative chocolate plaque imported from Belgium and includes a greeting card. 5% of your order will be contributed to Bake Me A Wish!’s Operation: Birthday Cake, which, with our partner Soldiers’ Angels, donates birthday cakes each month to soldiers overseas.
