Gourmet Tea

Years ago my husband and I used to drink hot tea with dinner when the weather was cold. Something happened along the way and that habit ceased until about a year ago when I was filling in for someone at an office. I noticed they had several kinds of hot tea bags, one was Sweet Chamomille Tea which I remembered from a little cafe way out in Western Nebraska a few years ago. I tried it once again and was hooked. Now I regularly order this wonderful beverage.

This event started a whole new adventure of sampling hot teas of all kinds: Green Tea, which is supposed to hold the most health benefits; Peach Sour Tea; Organic Decaf and Regular Peppermint White Teas; Dessert Teas; Flowering Teas that open as the water boils; Leaves Pure Teas and Teaosophy Nilgiri Tea, which is a high elevation, premium, medium-bodied black tea with a whisper of sweetness. There are so many more that are just waiting to be savored, I can hardly wait.

Whether you’re having Tea for One, a Tub of Tea Time Treats or you’re a member of the Tea of the Month Club, it’s fun to experience different flavors of tea. There’s something very soothing about sipping on a savory cup of hot tea. Some people add lemon, sugar or cream to their tea, but no matter what your preference is, take some time to relax and de-stress with your favorite cup of tea served in a pretty china tea cup.

Recently we recieved a Tea Treasures Gift Basket as a thank you from some overnight guests. As we opened each new package of tea, it brought back the memories of the special people who shared this wonderful gift with us. They enclosed a note which read, “You’re my cup of tea.” Their message, along with the thoughtful gift, made a lasting impression on us and reminded us how thankful we are to be blessed with their friendship.
